Spotlight on Twelve26

We're half way through the week- can I get a heck yes for the upcoming weekend? I don't know about you all but I'm over this week and I'm ready to party it up with friends for holiday parties this weekend!

Today I want to introduce you to a local DC curve and plus designer I recently had the pleasure of meeting, Twelve26. The owner and founder of Twelve26, Eula Taylor, found me on Instagram thanks to a follower, Megan (thank you Megan for the connection!), who recommended she speak with me. I was so excited to meet with Eula for a few reasons- 1. I'm always interested in meeting with local designers. I love to hear their perspectives and inspirations on design; 2. There are not very many local designers who cater to curve and plus size women; And 3. I am all about making connections and seeing how we can support each other as women.

I met Eula and instantly realized her passion is dressing women with curves and fuller body figures in stylish and beautiful clothing. Her line is designed specifically for the curvy woman in mind and the designs are all her own. She works with a seamstress in the DC metro area for the production of the clothing, and the material selection and fit is impeccable. The pieces are so intricately made and oh, did I mention the fit? The clothing fits me to a T. Take for example the wrap dress I'm wearing here in these pictures. It is by far one of the most flattering dresses I currently own. The cut and the lines are perfect on my body and I am so impressed with not only this dress, but the entire Twelve26 collection. I have some more Twelve26 looks coming to the blog but I simply couldn't wait to share this look in my new favorite dress! This dress has such great versatility and can be worn dressed up or dressed down. Since I love wearing black and white with a bold pop of color, I chose to accessorize the look with a red faux fur stole and OTK boots for a edgy chic look.
