Over the weekend I took Saturday Street Style to Barracks Row with some amazing fellow DC Bloggers. After spending time thinking of ways to connect with the DC blogger network, I bit the bullet and planned a brunch for a group of bloggers who I've connected with at previous events or on social media. The brunch was planned as a way to meet each other in the flesh (more than half of the group I only knew through Instagram!), and network about blogging. I picked Ambar restaurant, as it is legit my favorite in DC and I knew it would make the perfect backdrop for our group- not to mention their bottomless brunch is phenomenal! Our afternoon together sparked interesting conversation about our individual experiences associated with blogging, and together we built what I'd call a support group among us of #womensupportingwomen in the local blogging industry. After a few Ambar mimosas we even named our group "Bubbles & Bloggers" and will make this a monthly occurrence to build strong relationships with each other and even collaborate on future projects.

Before the brunch, Caroline from Little Bitty City One, and I met to snap outfit pictures for each other (another great thing about blogger brunch!), and since we were near The Fridge art gallery, we headed that way knowing there would be some cool murals. I must say, one of the coolest things about meeting other bloggers is knowing each others perspective right away. Caroline and I met for the first time and went straight into taking pics of each other without the blink of an eye. Caroline's bubbly and friendly personality made me feel as if we had been friends forever and we had a great time snapping pics for each other.
